Agritourism
The house and its surroundings
We live in the old stone house built at the end of 19th century. The house has a spacious terrace where we serve the summer meals, with two-side view over the beautifully green Umbria hills. Our Agritourism was reconstructed maintaining the characteristics of the Umbria’s: the stall was reorganized into a hall and large kitchen for preparing rich Mediterranean vegetarian meals, organic cooking courses.
Aside with the main house there’s an annex, once a hayloft and drying room of tobacco, now an apartment and the calm space for meditation, Yoga and other activities and practices. Nearby is the house of our native animals who named our house – the turtle doves (le tortorelle in Italian). Their neighbors are the chickens and gooses. In front of the house is the parking lot.
A few steps down from the Agritourism on another terrace is our biologic swimming pool sustained by the integral sea salt. About 20m in length and 5m wide, surrounded by rustic brick ground, it embraces the visitors by the soft and refreshing water in the hot summers days. An external shower, the summer chairs and some floating elements to help stay on top.
